FirstCom was founded in 2001, while the Internet bubble was exploding.

Luis Claudio Allan, founder and CEO, had just left an executive career managing PR programs for clients in the technology, internet and telecom industries, such as Ericsson, Portugal Telecom, Alcatel, Diamond Cluster and StarMedia, the first Latin American internet company to be listed in NASDAQ.

He had joined StarMedia team as communications director and then worked at ITC Ventures, a LATAM startups accelerator.

After creating and reinforcing a vast network with the IT industry and with journalists specialized in technology, business, marketing, financial and others areas, Luis Claudio created FirstCom, a boutique PR agency with a strong digital DNA.

Luis Claudio has been Director at Edelman Public Relations, Director of Public Relations for Latin America at ITC Ventures and Corporate Communications Manager at StarMedia Brazil.

He has also previously worked at Edelman as a senior executive where he gained international experience in PR attending to clients in the areas of technology, telecommunications and the Internet.

He was also general manager of Voice Comunicação, a local PR agency, where he worked for 7 years running and implementing strategic corporate communication plans for more than 100 clients in areas such as telecommunications, publicity, insurance, technology, tourism, hotels, franchising, food and drinks.

Strategic planning
Based on brainstorming sessions and on a deep dive into the client's universe, we produce, together with the marketing and communication area, a public relations, personal branding and content marketing program focused on strengthening the relationship network with the various stakeholders and generating business and partnerships.
Press Office
We have 30 years of experience in press office. We have a wide network of relationship with journalists from the most diverse areas and our premise is always to build a partnership between companies and the press by supporting the work of journalists with qualified sources and information and, at the same time, pursuing the institutional and marketing objectives of our clients and the consolidation of their brands as references in their markets.
Personal Branding
We design a PR H2H (Human to Human) planning to support the construction and reinforcement of companies C-Level image through personal branding actions, mainly with the writing and dissemination of byline articles about topics related to their business universe. Our recommendation is that executives use their social networks, especially LinkedIn, so that they become "business influencers" in topics they want to be a reference. We do brainstorming sessions to define their digital personas, message tone, themes (hashtags) and a content marketing plan (articles and posts).
Content
We define the subjects related to the business universe and in which the company or influencer wishes to become a reference to create content for the most diverse platforms and purposes - press releases, byline articles, social media posts, podcasts, videos, newsletters - always accessing the most appropriate language for each channel and audience of interest.
Relationship Network
We build and activate a network with journalists, influencers, investors, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders that are strategic for strengthening the company’s image and generating partnerships and business.
Media Training
We develop our own methodology to train executives to grant interviews to the most diverse media. Through practical and theoretical training we approach topics such as Press Office as a Business Tool, What is News, How to Reconcile Interests, Particularities of Each Type of Media, Why Speak to the Press, Spokesperson and the Press, How to Prepare for Each Interview.
